The award winning clubhouse is easily accessible from the resort and you have access to motorized golf carts and a well-stocked Pro-Shop.
The clubhouse has both ladies and gents change rooms which are fully equipped with showers, hand basins, toilets and secure lockers. A well stocked Pro-Shop provides for all your golfing needs including a selection of clubs, balls, gloves, shirts, hats and caps, as well as other golf paraphernalia. The halfway house offers a selection of light meals and drinks which can be enjoyed either in the indoor dining area or on the deck.
THE GREENS:
All the Greens are of the highest quality and are planted with L93 bent-grass which have proven extremely suitable for the region, particularly in winter where the greens remain 'green', receptive and true to line.
THE BUNKERS:
The 84 well appointed and well shaped bunkers that line fairways and greens all have white silica sand and will be appreciated by professional and novice alike for their consistency.
THE FAIRWAYS:
The fairways are all planted with kikuyu grass presenting a wonderful green carpet, further enhancing the beauty of this truly unique Championship Golf Course.
THE ROUGH:
Whilst badly misdirected shots will be punished, particularly in the wetlands and at the water holes, fairways are wide and bordered by light rough.

Champagne Sports Resort can accommodate up to 750 delegates at the foot of the majestic Drakensberg mountain range. The 40 new hotel rooms and 4 new luxurious executive suites enables us to offer a total of 152 hotel rooms and 91 time-share chalets of which the majority are 3 bed rooms.
We are also proud to announce completion of the new BUTTRESS Conference and Exhibition Centre as well as 4 new boardrooms. There is internet access in the hotel and all venues and a business centre across from the new coffee shop.
Other recently completed additions to the resort include an extended dining room and largely expanded buffet, a new Wellness Centre and coffee shop with adjoining lounge. Our new buffet and dining areas comfortable feed up to 700 guests with little queuing and complimented by an outstanding food offering rapidly gaining a reputation in the hospitality industry. The Wellness Centre includes an upmarket salon and well fitted gymnasium. The salon has five treatment rooms, comfortable change rooms and a relaxing rest area with cane loungers which look up at the Champagne and Cathkin peaks. The gym is fully equipped for all forms of exercise including general cardiovascular and weight training.
