Golf Digest magazine described Selborne as on of the most spectacular 18 hole golf courses in Southern Africa and it is rated in the Top 100.  The golf course is a superb masterpiece affording golfers breath-taking scenery as they weave their way through manicured fairways and coastal forest, where the only disturbance may be on of nature's creatures.

 

Whether as a visitor staying in the hotel on in one of the stylish villas that are unobtrusively part of the estate, "The Selbourne Experience" is shared with resident bush buck, grey duiker and the rare blue duiker.  Monkeys, Banded Mongoose and over 180 species of birds take advantage of the natural habitat o f the lush foliage, indigenous trees and stately palms that add and aura of grandeur to this well preserved and cared for environment.  Preserving the ecology and extensive wildlife habitats is of paramount importance at Selborne.
