Top 100 Courses in SA announced

Every year in March, respected golfing magazine Golf Digest South Africa publishes the views of their editorial team on which are the top 100 golf courses in South Africa. These are watched with interest not only by the playing public, but by the golf courses themselves. This year, it is exciting to see that three KZN golf courses are featured in the top 20 courses in SA! Durban Country Club, the iconic grand old lady of Kwazulu Natal golf, and host to many SA Opens and European Tour events, remains firmly near the top of the golfing ladder in the country, moving up to be ranked number 4 in South Africa. This is testament to the timeless quality of the course, and its continued exciting challege to both high and low handicap golfers.

Wild Coast Sun Country Club near Port Edward is ranked at 16, and Zimbali Country Club moves up 4 places to 18, and into the top 20 in South Africa. This, we, believe, is an accurate reflection of this Tom Weiskopf designed gem, and testament to the hard work being put in by Gavin Woodroffe and his team at Zimbali.
